The Honeymoon?

We have 2 young children, who will be 3 and 4 when we are married and so our honeymoon will be disguised as a family holiday heehee  We don't have passports (as we lost them when we moved house 2yrs ago, and have never found them grrrr!!) so we have to buy passports for all 4 of us, about £250.00 and then we're going to wait until August and book a late deal, hopefully so somewhere nice and hot like Spain or Greece, we've never been abroad and so it would be extra special if we did this after getting married.

    So we are getting there, we have passport forms and C and the children have their photo's sorted. Because my name is going to change after I am MARRIED, I cannot apply for a passport as yet and need to fill out a form that my priest has to sign to say he's marrying me on that date, he can only do this from 3months before the wedding date, so may 26th, so from may 26th I can send that off with my passport application and get a passport to use come August! Sounds complicated but not really, I just can't apply yet.

    Passports are a pain in the arse!!!!

    On the application form it asks for my surname for the children's passports, do I put my current, and then are they valid as it will have changed when we fly! Or do I put my to be one, as it will be that when we fly, but then that would be illegal as it's not my name!!

    We did get a good deal on passport photo prices though, from Bonusprint. I think it was less than £5 for 8 passport size photo's of each child, and delivery was quick! We uploaded pics we'd taken ourselves, so not sure if they'll be allowed yet but they look fine to us, and probably better than we would have got at a photbooth with a camera shy 2yr old :D

    Who needs sun sea and dan miguel?? We're off to Butlins Skegness woop woop!!

    The caravan is booked, on the poplars, so super close to the entertainment, we've been once before, had a blast, the kids LOVE caravans and as it's a 3bed I can have my own room if C snores!! hehe All paid for, so very very very happy with our holiday, (honeymoon as C calls it hehe)
